The Black and White Challenge results The results of the Black And White Challenge have just been announced, and I won the professional/advanced section! I am thrilled, but also quite surprised. After looking at all the entries, I was sure I didn't have a chance. The dolls were all amazing! The doll had to be made from a body pattern, designed by the contest hostess. She did not include a head in the advanced group. The doll's skin was supposed to be the only color allowed, besides lips and eyes. Everything else was to be Blacks and Whites.

Online Class

On October 15th, I will be teaching my popular, "Fancy", the Donkey. Sign up for the class has just started, and so far, most of the ladies that are in, have taken classes from me before. I have a small following! Boy, does that make me feel important! LOL!

This little donkey is fully armatured and can be posed many ways. She has a fully articulated mouth with a set of pearly white teeth.

The class is being offered at classheaven.com.

Blog in progress!

Well, here I am, doing something I never thought I would do....create a blog. In the next few weeks, I will be adding pictures of some of my creations and information about my pieces of fabric art. I hope you will stop by from time to time and take a peek. Nanci Katz To the right is a picture of 'Aunt Alice". This piece was created for a family reunion themed conference. Aunt Alice was known for her fresh and tasty fried chicken. Only this was way too fresh, when she showed up at the picnic with her crate of fried chickens still "on the hoof"!
